All prenatal clients will receive 2 visits. These visits are intended to educate new parents with professional information and develop a birth and postpartum plan.

As a Doula, I Do Not:
Postpartum Doula
Includes breast-feeding observation and support for your baby’s first feeding(s). Information on milk supply and demand. Answering questions about your birth. Helping you to ease the transition as you welcome your newborn into the family. Taking care of the baby while mother rests. Light housework and cooking for the family. I provide families with evidence based information and resources. I have a lending library, wonderful articles and profesional support on newborn facts. Up to 8 hours per day, no more than 40 hours per week. Also, admiring your new baby!
$30 per hour
Placenta Specialist
Encapsulate or make a tincture (or both) of the placenta. Make a print. Pick-up and delivery included.
$200 for birth doula clients
$250 for non-birth doula clients
Yoga
Build strength. Practice mindfulness. Optimal fetal positioning.

$100 per hour for in home private sessions.
Community Referrals
With Love and Joy wishes for all women and families to enter their reproductive years with all the assurance and support necessary for a safe and healthy journey (for example, lactation consultants, mental health providers, naturopaths, pediatricians, family support groups, placenta encapsulation, breast pump rentals, new mom fitness, and more!).

I am not a medical professional and do not perform clinical tasks such as vaginal exams or fetal heart monitoring. I do not give medical advice or diagnose conditions.
Make decisions for you
It's important for me to empower you to make your own decisions about your birthing experience. I do not make decisions for you or judge you for decisions that you make.
Speak to the staff on your behalf
I will discuss your concerns with you and suggest options, but you or your partner will speak on your behalf to the clinical staff.
Project any of my own beliefs onto your experience
I do not let my personal values or biases get in the way of caring for you (for example, pressure you into making any decisions just because that’s what I prefer).
