About me
My Story

My Philosophy

With Love and Joy Birth Services is here to provide you and your family with the support and resources you need to move through this important transition in your life. With my experience as a trained professional, I offer a range of services, including labor and postpartum doula support.
I focus on aiding families and their decisions that relate to reproductive choices, birth choices and family lifestyle. My role is to help families physically and emotionally before, during and after birth. My philosphy is that all people deserve compassion, care, and support.

Since 2010 I've worked with children in different capacities, ranging from a private nanny, art education staff, teaching preschool as a lead in accredited schools and working at hospitals as a birth doula. Through the years I have supported hundreds of babies & children and have focused my passion for supporting early childhood and families by becoming a Doula. I love providing compassionate, respectful support and professional care to families.
I've lived in several different states including California, Montana, Arizona, Oregon and Washington. I've also lived in Europe. I love traveling, living healthy, art, being outside, my dogs, friends and family. I currently reside in beautiful Tacoma, Washington.

“Emily came into my orbit and had the perfect balance to ease my stress and allow me to feel comfortable with the amazing help she offered. She was always calm, patient, and sincere with a caring spirit that enveloped me and my children. She took on any task so naturally that I did not notice the help right away, because she was talking to me and allowing me to feel at ease the entire time.” Stefanie C.
